this is just a poll to specifically mention it to the Persona group (minus Yukiko now) since we have been sharing our pasts and the similarities in our memories (i.e. Shadows, Personas, recurring themes). while we* discussed some stuff, we did hide a good amount.
if we weren't/aren't basically a vigilante group, then this wouldn't be an issue, but what we did may not sit well with everyone else. we did force people to change entirely after all.

this is the rundown: we went into people’s hearts/minds to steal their distorted desires. when we steal their desires, we force a change of heart. our method has the potential to kill our targets, too, but we thankfully didn’t go down that path.
as a reference, distorted desires create a cognitive world within a person called a “Palace.” their distorted desires take form in this cognitive world as a “treasure.” i want to assume the Palace disappears entirely after the heist, but i don’t remember anything to support that.

What would be an example of a distorted desire? I'm not seeing why we'd have to steal them?
we stole these desires to make criminals and corrupted individuals admit to their crimes and wrongdoings, then we leave it up to the police and justice system. from my recent memories, we target those that the police struggle with or those that have clean records with skeletons in their closets. some names are Kamoshida and Kaneshiro. There are a couple more that have direct ties to us, too.

the only memory i have of a heist is in Kamoshida's palace with Ryuji, Ann, and... a cat. it manifested as a giant crown in the Palace, but it was probably something else in the real world. Kamoshida was a teacher at our school that took advantage of students in the volleyball team (verbal and physical abuse, sexual harassment/assault) and used his influence as a former professional athlete and Olympic volleyball champion to have his way in the school. he would have continued abusing students if it weren't for us.
