it all takes time, but if they can't even think they'll be able to forgive themselves one day, then it won't ever happen.
it's pretty heavy and there's a possibility he might never be ready. i've always wondered if i should keep waiting or i've been too assertive, but sometimes you have to force your way in.
either way, he's someone who's living a different life from his memories.

it was difficult at first. i had my suspicions about his betrayal, but i didn't expect the rest of it. in my memories, Akechi hated me with every fiber of his being, but i wasn't afflicted by the emotions that came with it. my other self was calm and composed since he saw it coming. he also pitied him and wished there was something they could have done.
i needed time to process it emotionally, even though i understood that Goro didn't do any of that in this life. the memory was too real and he was so different.
