I've been taking sword lessons from someone, but I'm not sure if I can bring a wooden sword with me everywhere I go. A dagger is a lot smaller, so it would be a lot more handy to keep it on. I can even fit it in my bag better.

I can try to avoid monsters, but that's about the best I can do. Not even turning into someone else will help that.
Combat skills in general can translate to other weapons. It only takes some adjustments.

I can open any kind of lock as long as it has a physical form. I don't know how to hack into computers, but I can open ones with an electronic keypad somehow without any tools or magic. [ He doesn't get it either, but hey. It works. ] Another one is like... upgraded parkour. I can jump fences without much effort. I can also fix equipment? I can also change my voice and looks.

And the whole... turning into another person thing. He comes with another personality, but that hasn't come yet. I hope it never does.
I don't know any magic though. My white hair happened when I was losing my identity in one of my memories.
