It was just me, Ryuji, and Morgana...

So...if Akechi was a temporary member of the Phantom Thieves, then it might've been that only the Phantom Thieves could talk to Morgana, right?

But then...why would he work against us?

that would make sense... his mouth moves though, so i'm wondering if he's meowing the whole time.

in the end, he had his own reasons. i wish we knew why back then, too.

it isn't like we do any of that stealing hearts stuff here, but he still supports us. he was more supportive about the Phantom Thieves than i was when we first got Retrospec.

yeah. back then i was worried i was a part of something shady and invasive, so it was more like a conflict of self. i'm not even a PT now yet it is still a part of us whether we like it or not, but we also control how it affects us.

And yeah, I understand. I think I had similar feelings, too, but maybe...to a lesser degree? I think reading all those superhero comics made me realize that justice can really be taken into one's own hands. It's just a matter of what your definition of justice is, and I think we were doing the right thing.

maybe i should have read more superhero fiction... but all is fine. i know we were doing the right thing, we would also do the right thing now, and that’s all that matters to me. but even the righteous are corrupted by power.

Yeah. Well, he's also a talking cat. He could've looked like an ordinary cat and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.
