I didn't get it either.
We were clearing paths, and there was a bunch of boulders.
So we asked him to use a Persona to help clear them
He told us to turn around, we asked why,
And then he started doing that while demanding that we turn around.

Unfortunately it gets worse.

So we knock him out and disarmed him (he has a LOT of weapons btw)
I heal him and wake him up, and he doesn't apologize even after Mako talks to him

And then when we reached a 10ft tall anthill that needed to be cleared away
He hijacks my water spell and freezes it over
And tells us that Mako and I are the most dangerous people in the forest
And we should've just killed him.

it's like i'm reading bad fiction.

not to downplay that this is reality, but i'm at loss for words. he wasn't joking, right? this seems a bit much.

He wasn't, Akira. He was being serious.
He asked us to help him understand why we cared more about villagers than ants and rats.
And it wasn't in a way you hear from vegetarians about animal rights, I've heard those before.
It was like he couldn't comprehend our reasoning at all.

I wish I was making this up, really.
But that guy really has some issues.

sorry that you had to deal with so much trouble. it's not like Minato to show a lot of emotion or any at all, let alone make that much of a fuss.

granted, i've been feeling more emotional lately, too.

the heart stone is a little inconvenient, but it feels comforting every time i hold it. i kind of don't like that.

But something horrible could happen even without a heart-stone being around. Which is really scary sometimes to think about, but...that's how it is.

we've been talking here and there. it sounds like he's having a better time than me, but i'm extremely glad for that. despite the heat, he's enjoying himself and his friends are there.

actually, maybe the heat will be in his favor.
