[ Well, one of Souji's bingo squares does say that he needs to purposely dial the wrong number and have a conversation with a stranger so... sorry, Akira, you've been accidentally chosen for this task. ]
[ So ring ring, there goes your phone. It's from an unfamiliar number but more importantly... seriously, who calls these days?? Do you dare to pick up? ]

1. our mutual acquaintance was thankful that i bit a lemon to change the conversation.
2. however, they were also discomforted. i wish i had thought to snap a picture.
3. my show will be on the 15th of this month, provided nothing else comes up, in recollé square. 5pm, please bring snacks.
also, some questions, if you will.
q1: which one is more appropriate to drown your pancakes in - whipped cream or syrup?
q2: do you believe in horrorterrors?
q3: is this bingo fun or what?
[ ... thanks, liz. ]

Hey Akira, I have kind of a weird request. It's for bingo.
Would you be willing to wear a costume in public?
Would you be willing to wear a costume in public?
So did you know Yu Narukami actually hates cats?
Hey Akira, want to help me vandalize Elda's house?
[...He's already gotten enough rumors. He might as well just get to the point.]

Hey Akira!
Did you know that Yosuke rescues animals in trouble in his free time?
You should ask him next time you see a cat stuck in a tree!
(I don't know his last name)

Did you know? Abyssal Gigantism (also known simply as deep-sea gigantism) is a common (if unusual) phenomenon among invertebrates and other creatures that live in the depths of the ocean in which they grow much, much larger than their shallow sea cousins. A giant squid can get up to 13m long, for example.

[ it's not much of a video, completely dark and extremely grainy because of the lack of light, but there's some light coming from the phone that shows a dark tunnel in front, and- ryoji's voice, shouting ]
HELLO!!
[ and the echo-- "HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!", culminating in a low rumble in a distance... ]

[Sent at the beginning of the event-]
Come on Akira, hit me up.
My texts didn't get through so far, but third time's the charm, right?
Well, guess not.
In the event that I somehow get a bar in the jungle, I'm in one piece.
I'm uh, in the jungle.
There are a couple of weird wispy things trying to get us to follow their paths, but I'm probably going to find my own way.
Will keep you posted.
[And a couple of days later-]
I forgot to take a picture of the dragon.
Or maybe it's a dinosaur?
If my seahorse friend is a dragon, the fire breathing lizard can be a dinosaur.
Either way, eating dinomeat or dragon meat sounds way cooler than salvaging a lizard in the jungle.
I didn't think I was cut out for roughing it, but it's not too bad. I'm pretty sure I don't have malaria. Aoi's happy enough. I'm going nuts without technology, but that's because I have no clue how everyone else is doing.
You better be in one piece. Whatever's going on back there, I bet you can handle it.
That sounded really cool until I realized you guys could just be going about your business like normal. Well, the tamer things are, the better.
[On the 10th:]
Ghost car just took us to some ancient run down jungle temple. Pretty sure we're in a video game.
This is awesome.
I'll keep you posted.
[On the 14th, accompanied by a selfie of him in some golden crown:]
Check this thing out. You wouldn't believe what I went through to get this thing.
I'm going to save that story for when I'm back, though.
And I will get back. That's a promise.
To tell the truth, I haven't been as scared as I should be. Most of the time, I'm just excited. Sometimes it's both.
But people are putting their trust in me. If I mess up, it could mean their lives.
That's terrifying.
But I've always been bad with people relying on me.
Man, I sound like a real downer right now, don't I?
I don't have much battery left, so next time we talk, it's gonna have to be face to face.
preferably somewhere that sells ice cream.
See you soon, buddy.

I don't have that much battery power left, but I wanted to talk to you anyway... though I know by now that it won't work. Maybe it'll help me clear my mind.
For the past few weeks (I think they're weeks, my phone says as much) I've been on a sinking ship, forcefully invited to an octopus wedding, and unable to contact anyone. I'm beginning to think that there's no hope of returning, of seeing you or anyone else again, and it *terrifies* me. Myself and the others with me find ourselves on a thankfully floating ship, the sort pirates sail on, with the threads to match. Oh, I had *gills* before, when we were underwater, which was strange... but I got used to it.
... It hasn't been all bad. I've found a few people I wouldn't mind spending time with outside of this ordeal, I have plenty of treasure I obtained, I learned how to play the sea ocarina, and I do get to see a world I never have before. I still like sitting on the beach with you more though.
I hope things have been well with you, that you're safe and taking care of yourself. I'll try my best to return so we can have that lunch I promised you. I'm sorry if my absence has worried you any. Let me know how I can make it up to you, alright?
Oh, and I have a few things to show you if I do make it back in one piece. Don't let me forget, okay? You'll probably enjoy at least one of them.

Why are pirates so bad at cards?
Because it's rather hard to play when you're sitting on the deck!
I thought you might like that one. Oh, I remembered another good one, hold on.
In case their ship sunk, pirates would often carry soap on their person at any point of time... all so they could wash ashore.
I hope that one made you laugh as well. I've been thinking about them since we hit land ho at a pirate cove, as real as the rest of this adventure has been and just as unbelievable. I do have pictures of this one though. Everyone mostly looks stylish in the ridiculous outfits we've been given and I'm rather tempted to find a bandanna to finish my look, but the opportunity hasn't risen just yet.
I'll be sure to take a picture before I lament the lack of a charger on a wooden ship.
Stay safe, Akira. I miss our talks, both the late night and the sane hour kinds.

Hello!
I'm messaging you today to invite you to a gathering for Persona users, as well as those who believe they may be connected to Persona users. Given that the number of our group seems to have grown recently, I believe it is important to offer support and solidarity, especially given the recent findings after everything that happened in August. This gathering is also meant to start the foundations of a Persona user network that we can continue to rely on in the future. So to those who attended the first gathering: I hope to see you at this one as well!
However, to those who are hearing from me for the first time-- there is absolutely no obligation to attend. If you feel uncomfortable with the idea of sharing your status as a Persona user with others, simply do not come to the meeting, and Yukiko and I will assume that you do not want to reveal yourself. Your secret will be safe with us. I promise.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, September 16th, at 7pm in the Recollé Tribunal Terrace Community Center, 3F Staff Room. Dinner will be provided, and if enough people show interest, after the meeting we will go to a remote area of Peach Beach for sparring and power demonstrations.
Please feel free to send any questions you may have by texting me at XXX-XXX-XXXX or on Retrospec.
Sincerely,
Minako Arisato
